Cuneo, the most southern Province of the Piedmont, is romantically framed by the southern foothills of the Mediteranean Alps and flanked like a wedge (Ital. “pizzo di Cuneo”) by the rivers Stura and Gesso.
The region owes its unique climate to its geographical location. It, especially Limone, is also famous as a skiing resort. Cuneo and Limone can easily be reached by car, for example from Nice. Cuneo is one hour drive away from Turin and two hours from Milan.
